Who We Are

The Junior League of Detroit is a dynamic group of women leaders who have been making change happen since 1914. With over 500 members we are women committed to promoting voluntarism. Through our projects and programs we work continuously to impact the lives of children and families, and help build a better community in the City of Detroit.

What We Do

Since 1914 the Junior League of Detroit has competed 53 major projects in and around the City, and awarded over $250,000 dollars in community grants. Over the past twelve months our valued members donated 525 hours of volunteer time, continually working to help broaden the educational, cultural, recreational, and health opportunities for children and families in the City of Detroit.
