Since 1914 the Junior League of Detroit has competed 53 major projects in and around the City, and has worked collaboratively with a number of organizations and agencies. Together we continually develop projects and programs that address health and nutritional needs to impact the lives of children and families, and help build a better community.
Over the past twelve months our valued members donated 525 hours of volunteer time, continually working to help broaden the educational, cultural, recreational, and health opportunities for children and families in the City of Detroit.
Our Current Major Projects: Project Eat, Empowered Pantry, Meals Program, Done In A Day, Kids In The Kitchen
Our Latest Community Agency Programs: Gleaners Food Bank, The Empowerment Plan, Capuchin Soup Kitchen, On the Rise Bakery, Mercado Food Hub
