Meals Program

The JLD Meals Program is a pay-it-forward initiative whereby patrons at participating restaurants can purchase a meal for a stranger in need.  That person in need then can visit the participating restaurant and collect a JLD Meal for free.

As part of the JLD’s goal to end food insecurity in Metro Detroit, the JLD Meals Program attempts to collaborate with local businesses, food-insecure Metro Detroiters, and generous patrons willing to help.

The JLD Meals Program promotes participating businesses as social engineers, community supporters, and feeds individuals in-need with healthful meals generously donated by others.
